This is Tim Gabrielson. He recently spoke at the South Dakota Future Business Leaders of America (SDFBLA) Conference in Pierre, South Dakota. He is a magician/comedian that tells it like it is. In high school, he wasn't liked, as many of you can probably relate. He even had a group that was started against him called PAT, People Against Tim. He revealed to everyone that he had often come home crying. He was never quick to judge the person who wrote this about him, though he might have wanted to. He said at the conference that this person had had a terrible home life. So he figured out a way to keep himself from being upset. He figured that you can change someone's mood by just smiling at people. He was definitely right! His magic act was unforgettable...literally! He told several jokes, almost made some guy pee himself because he made this guy's 50 dollar bill disappear, and he made a girl scream with terror as he through a puppet of a raccoon that appeared to be real. His book called 101 Things to do in Wal-mart. I highly recommend finding it and reading it, just in case you want to make someone in Wal-mart laugh or if you're bored. My advice for the day is to go and find some of the places he's performed and watch them! He's hilarious and definitely make your day a whole lot better!

Stay classy
Truth is ladies that wearing your tightest shirts and shortest shorts to school is not okay! I don't care how hot it is outside or if it makes you look cute. Well it doesn't! We can see that your legs are nice and thin and we can see that your waist is nice and small. But there is one small problem about this: IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE!!!!! Nobody really cares what you look like when you come to school anyways. It's just school, not a runway fashion show in France. So stick with the sweatpants and t-shirts You are at school to learn after all!

Don't dumb yourself down
Don't be dumb for attention. It's annoying and quite frankly, NOT CUTE AT ALL! When people start being dumb on purpose, other people tend to talk about you more. Now if you are just stupid, then that's another story, but if you are constantly on an honor roll and all you can say are things maybe a 6 year old would say, that's when you know you're annoying everyone around you. Think before you speak so you don't sound stupid! And I didn't say I was going easy on the advice part.
